• Build three new health centres to help improve access to GP
services, using developer contributions.
• Improve local leisure centres by investing £3m to refurbish councilowned facilities.
• Implement 10 new School Streets to improve road safety and
children’s health around the most traf昀椀c congested schools.

• Improve access to SEND support by using developer contributions
to create four new high quality SEND facilities in mainstream local
schools.
• Improve short-breaks and day services for children and adults
with disabilities by delivering the brand new state-of-the-art facility
at Linford Wood Place.
• Provide earlier help and support for families, providing practical
and emotional support to prevent problems from escalating and
helping their children to thrive.
More jobs and opportunities for young people.
• Deliver a city centre university.
• Support more activities for young people by working with our MPs
to secure funding in the next round the Labour government’s Youth
Futures programme.
• Reduce youth unemployment and increase job opportunities for
people with disabilities by working with employers and MK College to
deliver a new Connect to Work scheme.
