• Fix 6000 extra potholes by adopting new scanning technology to
identify more defects, using additional funding from the Labour
government.
• Fix 500 broken streetlights by prioritising funding for repairs in the
capital programme.
• Restore pride in our communities – with more enforcement

• A Crisis Support scheme for help with food, energy, housing and
heating costs.
• Support a holiday activity scheme for 3000 low-income local
children, funded with help from the Labour government.
• Improve the take-up of free early years childcare for low-income
working families.
Pride in our communities.
• Ban pavement parking and improve enforcement by using new
powers from the Labour government.
• Refurbish local play parks using the Community Infrastructure Fund
for three years.
• Support our local high streets with small grants for community
events.
